Face latérale gauche : “VERDUN – SOMME - MARNE ET CHAMPAGNE - SOISSONS - REIMS - AISNE”.
Face latérale droite : “MARNE - YSER - ARTOIS - CHAMPAGNE – ARGONNE - VOSGES”.

[EN] General description:
The monument consists of an obelisk separated from a trapezoidal base by a large round molding, resting on a ledge bearing on three sides plaques probably in black marmorite with inscriptions. The base rests on three courses, the two lowest ones forming a real step.
The front face of the obelisk is entirely occupied by two massive vertical palms sculpted in relief supporting a reproduction of the Croix de Guerre.
On the front face, in the intermediate space between the obelisk and the base, a plate probably made of black marmorite bears the main inscription in gold letters.
On the side faces, also on a plate probably made of black marmorite, there are two lines in gold letters, in the intermediate space between the obelisk and the base, of a long list of places of battle in which men from the commune took part, some of them leaving their lives.
Left side : "VERDUN - SOMME - MARNE ET CHAMPAGNE - SOISSONS - REIMS - AISNE".
