VISION
Vision stand tall with her eyes cast forward and her left hand raised, deciding the best course of action. Vision is multifaceted. It's seeing and reaching in the field and planning troop movements in battle. It's also predicting how today's actions will influence tomorrow.
Here you'll encounter Vision in its different forms: vision of national expansion, visions of the battlefield, and visions that shaped the future.
Four monumental sculptures by St. Louisan Walker Hancock flank the entrances to Soldiers Memorial. Each represents an essential quality of service members and their families: courage, loyalty, sacrifice, and vision.
