We stopped to take a look along the Corinth Canal. We snapped a perfect picture of the Canal with the old railroad truss bridge in the center.

Railway Bridge over Corinth Canal, opened 27 Feb. 1946. This bridge enabled the Athens-Patras line which runs along the south side of the Gulf of Corinth to be operated as far as Xylokastron. The reconstruction of the bridge itself was accomplished by Greek engineers without UNRRA aid but the line both sides of the bridge was rehabilitated by the help of UNRRA.
