Fountain Park is a 144 wildlife preserve on Tinkham Road in Wilbraham. Between 1913 and 1984 it was the Massachusetts State Game Farm where pheasants were raised and stocked throughout Massachusetts for the benefit of hunters.
The live size bronze sculpture of a pheasant in flight dates back to the time Fountain Park was a game farm.
