SPark!, a collaboration between the National Endowment for the Arts, the Springfield Museums, the Springfield Cultural Partnership, the City of Springfield, and the Springfield Business Improvement District, has installed a frame chime in the newly renovated Pynchon Park.

Artist Beth Crawford and her husband Robert Dickerman created a the kinetic sculpture “Duryea Redux”. The Duryea was built in Springfield. It was the name of the first successful gasoline powered automobile. The sculpture is a a tribute to the Springfield's automobile history.

The kinetic sculpture is made of reclaimed iron wheels. The outer ring is stationary while the three inner rings spin in the wind. The video link below shows the “Duryea Redux” spinning at 1:08 minutes.
