Playa de la Malagueta is a beach in the Centro district of the city of Málaga , in Andalusia , Spain . It is an urban beach with dark sand located on the eastern coast of the city, between the port of Malaga and La Caleta beach . It is about 1,200 meters long and about 45 meters wide on average. It is a popular and frequented beach due to its central location, in the neighborhood of the same name . It has all kinds of services. Some of them are: bathrooms, showers, children's play areas, hammocks and umbrellas, beach bars, buses for your arrival, etc.
In addition, in the months of June, July and August, the summer cinema is held, in which films are shown and can be accessed completely free of charge.
