Situated atop a relatively high point of distinctively red-hued Chugwater Formation, this triangulation station commands a noteworthy view of the city of Laramie from the north. The station is best reached either from the turnoff on U.S. Highway 287/30 at N41 20.133 W10535.450 or from the two-track road leading northwards at the corner of North 7th Street and Seeton Street at N41 20.030 W105 35.165. Either approach requires a steep final push to reach the hilltop; 4WD or AWD vehicles are recommended to reach close parking at the station (2WD vehicles should be able to make it to the base of the final hill with no issues, with only a short walk required from there). The station and its concrete monument setting have taken their fair share of dings and scrapes over the years, but as far as survey purposes are concerned, the disk appears to have held its position well and is in good condition.
