Valletta Bus Station is located very centrally in the capital, between the two districts of Valletta and Floriana.
From the station there are bus routes to all cities on the island. It is cheap to travel by bus, only 2 euros for 2 hours, and various discount tickets can be bought. Tickets are bought on the bus from the driver.
You cannot completely trust the timetable. You will quickly discover that the bus often only runs when it is full of people. And you might also think that there are too many people on the buses.
At the bus station there are several kiosks where you can buy snacks, sandwiches, sweets, newspapers and other things.
There are no restrooms, but luckily it doesn't rain that often in Malta.
