George Walter Vincent Smith Art Museum is one of four museums built around the the Quadrangle in Springfield. The Italian palazzo-style museum was built in 1896 to hold the art collection of George Walter Vincent Smith and his wife, Belle Townsley Smith.
The ornate wooden door has a pair of lion door kockers, which are made of bronze and painted black.
