The SPark!, a collaboration between the National Endowment for the Arts, the Springfield Museums, the Springfield Cultural Partnership, the City of Springfield, and the Springfield Business Improvement District, has installed a pipe drum in the newly renovated Pynchon Park.

Roberley Bell was chosen as one of the artists to have her creation placed in Pynchon Park in 2022: She created this artistic seating bench which can seat multiple persons. According to the artist: “The curvilinear contours of the Pynchon Plaza bench provide pedestrians with the opportunity to sit facing one another, to engage in conversation. The bold color of the bench stands out in contrast to the concrete plaza. The bench’s bright blue color was inspired by One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish. A nod to the Dr Seuss Museum , which is just outside the plaza.” Visit Link
