The idea for the artwork comes from the Tegelen artist Henri Siegers in collaboration with the Wijkraad Op de Heide. "I wanted to bring back a piece of history to this place, so that people remain connected to the history of this place," says Siegers. The artist says he spent about three and a half months making the artwork.
