The Gothic revival style Iglesia Christiana Pentecostal occupies the building built in 1907 for the former First Baptist Church. The church is located at 119 W. Main Street in New Britain, CT.

Construction of the First Baptist Church began in 1907 and was opened in 1908. The church replaced the original First Baptist Church that was built in 1869 and razed in 1908. In 1974, First Baptist Church vacated the building. and merged with the South Congregational Church to form the federated South Church. (

The Iglesia Christiana Pentecostal is one of several Spanish language Pentecostal churches in New Britain. These Pentecostal churches believe "The Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God. It is the sole authority for faith, doctrine, and instruction in Christian living." (

A set of steps leads up to a Gothic style pavilion entrance at the base of a tower. In the middle of the tower is a large multi-part Gothic stained glass window with ornamental tracery. At the top is a belfry with a stone ornamental tracery louvered opening. The top of the tower has a crenelated roof-line.
The front of the main block has a pair of ornamental Gothic stained glass windows. The sides of the main block have auxiliary entrances at the first bay and brick columns separating the next five bays. Each of the five bays has a large Gothic style window with ornamental tracery.
A 2½ story high transept projecting from the back of the church. The gable end is one bay deep and three bays wide. There is an auxiliary entrance at in the middle of the gable end and windows at the other bays.
