The Bank of Ottawa was a branch bank that operated initially in the Ottawa Valley before spreading as far west as Winnipeg. It operated between 1874 and 1919, when it merged with the Bank of Nova Scotia.
The former bank building dates to about 1910. It currently houses a book store and apartments.
