[ES] “El Campo de Fútbol de Vallecas es el estadio de fútbol donde juega el Rayo Vallecano. Situado en el popular barrio de Vallecas, al sudeste de la capital, entre las calles Payaso Fofó , Arroyo del Olivar y Avenida de la Albufera.
Fue inaugurado en 1976, en el mismo lugar donde estaba el antiguo estadio, y tiene capacidad para 14.708 espectadores sentados. Antiguamente las tribunas bajas eran plazas de pie y podía tener capacidad para 20.000 personas, pero la UEFA en 1996 cambió las normas de los estadios para Primera y Segunda División, y de esta manera se quedó en 15.500 plazas hasta las obras de remodelación que sufrió el estadio en 2011 para suprimir las vallas que separaban el terreno de juego de las gradas, quedando en la actual capacidad para 14.708 espectadores.
En un principio, se le denominó Nuevo Estadio de Vallecas. En 1992 la familia Ruiz-Mateos compró el club y Teresa Rivero se convirtió en 1994 en la primera mujer presidente de un club de fútbol de Primera División. Unos años más tarde, en 1999, los abonados del Club aprobaron en referéndum que el estadio pasase a denominarse "Campo de Fútbol de Vallecas, Teresa Rivero".
En 2011 la Plataforma ADRV organizó una votación para elegir el nuevo nombre del estadio tras la salida de Teresa Rivero de la presidencia.
Grandes nombres de la música como Bob Dylan en 1980, Miguel Ríos, Luz Casal, y Leño (1983), Barricada en 1986 o Metallica en 1992, entre otros, han actuado en dicho estadio. Queen actuó en el estadio el 3 de agosto de 1986, siendo éste el penúltimo concierto de Queen en tierras españolas, y el antepenúltimo en la historia del grupo con su formación original. Dos días después actuaron en Marbella.
En él se disputó la 1ª Fase Final de la Liga Superibérica de rugby (2009). También es la meta de llegada de la tradicional carrera San Silvestre Vallecana, que todos los 31 de diciembre se celebra en Madrid.
En marzo de 2011 se eliminan las vallas que rodean el terreno de juego separándolo del graderío. Hasta la fecha, el campo de fútbol de Vallecas era el único en España que mantenía estas vallas de "seguridad" (aunque han demostrado ser más que inseguras), por lo que su retirada era uno de los deseos que perseguía desde hace años la afición vallecana. Para realizar este cambio, se hizo necesario eliminar las 2 primeras filas de ambos laterales para cumplir la normativa que exige una distancia mínima entre el terreno de juego y los espectadores, no siendo necesario en el fondo que ya está a la distancia adecuada. Al retirarse estas localidades, el Estadio disminuyó su capacidad en 792 espectadores, quedando en 14.708 el nuevo aforo.”

Rayo Vallecano
El Rayo Vallecano de Madrid, S. A. D. es un club de fútbol español localizado en el distrito madrileño de Puente de Vallecas. Fue fundado el 29 de mayo de 1924. Milita actualmente en la Primera División de España.
El lugar de entrenamiento del primer equipo masculino y sede del equipo femenino, así como del resto de categorías, está en el cercano distrito de Villa de Vallecas, en la Ciudad Deportiva del Rayo Vallecano, en régimen de cesión por parte de la Comunidad Autónoma de Madrid, titular tanto de la Ciudad Deportiva como del Campo de Fútbol de Vallecas. El club ha llegado a competir en la Liga Europa de la UEFA, específicamente en la Copa de la UEFA 2000-01 y en 19 temporadas en Primera División. Se proclamó campeón de la Segunda División de España 2017-18, siendo este el primer título oficial de su primer equipo masculino, con el exfutbolista Míchel como entrenador.
Su primer equipo femenino, por otra parte, ha alzado tres Ligas de Primera División y una Copa de la Reina (que fue el primer título oficial del club), siendo un clásico del fútbol femenino español y habiendo disputado la Liga de Campeones Femenina de la UEFA.
Además de por sus logros deportivos, el club es conocido internacionalmente por sus particularidades socioculturales (un club de barrio, obrero, etc.), con repercusión tanto a nivel literario como audiovisual.

Rayo Vallecano de Madrid, S. A. D. is a Spanish football club located in the Madrid district of Puente de Vallecas. It was founded on May 29, 1924. It is currently a member of the First Division of Spain.
