IC 100 was built by Pullman in 1914. It served on the IC until the 1960's when RPO service was gradually replaced by air and truck service.
The car was badly damaged by Hurricane Ike in 2008, but was restored to exhibit status by 2012.
The car is open, with visitors encouraged to learn more about the mail service by rail.
