The airport was extremely crowded. We were flying United Airlines. Our plane was coming from Houston and then turning around for a return trip. They informed us that they waited on the tarmac in Houston for two hours because Providenciales did not have room for it. This caused us to miss our connection and gave me time to check out the inside of the airport. Which took 3 minutes. It is tiny for an international airport. There was a bar/diner, ice cream stand, and two sundries stores of course overcharging for everything. Security was a disaster. Slow but also no exterior walls so very hot with all of the people. The delayed flights caused much overcrowding in the "gate" area which was a few seats.
Wi-Fi was available but was overloaded. There was no exterior signage for the airport but I will include some plaques I found inside documenting some renovations that had been performed. Can't imagine what it was like before the upgrades.
