De Matenpoort.
Een Made of Maat is een stuk grasland dat als hooiland wordt gebruikt. Maten (poort) verwijst dus naar graslanden en deze poort is de toegang naar de wijk de Maten. De poort is opgebouwd uit "hooibalen".
De wijk de Maten is in de jaren 1970 ontstaan Voorheen waren het weilanden en grasland. Het Apeldoorn - Dierens kanaal stroomt langs wijk de Maten.
De zuilen van dit kunstwerk zijn 12 meter hoog. Het kunstwerk is ontworpen door Marcel Smink, kosten €100.000-

The Gate Matenpoort
A Made of Maat is a piece of grassland that is used as hayfield. Maten (gate) therefore refers to grasslands and this gate is the entrance to the de Maten district. The gate is made of "hay bales".
The de Maten district was created in the 1970s. It used to be meadows and grassland. The Apeldoorn - Dierens canal flows past the Maten district.
The columns of this work of art are 12 meters high. The artwork was designed by Marcel Smink, costs €100,000.
