This dated bridge is located in south St. Catharines, Ontario on Ormond Street South. The bridge was built in 1931 for the King's Highway #58. Highway 58 was a north-south highway between St. Catharines and Port Colborne. Just south of this area the highway would have crossed the Welland Canal at Bridge 9.

In the late 1960s the Thorold Tunnel was built which re-routed Highway 58. Bridge 9 was demolished and this bridge downgraded from highway status around 1969.
