Lå oprindelig som dørtærskel mellem våbenhus og kirke. Blev i 1868 anmeldt af etatsråd Jens Jakob Worsåe - og på hans foran­ledning opstillet i våbenhu­set.

Runeskriften er den forkortede udgave af "Futhark" - kaldt op efter de første 6 tegn - det daterer stenen til ca.900-tallet. Sammen med det sidste, det vil sige: ”Toste rejst denne sten efter Tue/Tove, sin bror som faldt ude østpå, Osveds smed. ” Toste er altså smeden. Over teksten ses rester af et spiralornament.

Originally located as a door threshold between the porch and the church. Was notified in 1868 by state councilor Jens Jakob Worsåe - and at his behest placed in the armory.

The runic script is the abbreviated version of "Futhark" - named after the first 6 characters - it dates the stone to around the 9th century. Together with the last, that is: "Toste raised this stone after Tue/Tove, his brother who fell out to the east, Osved's smith. "Toste is the blacksmith, then. Above the text remains of a spiral ornament can be seen.
