A nice TVA survey marker on the North Boundary Greenway. The greenway you'll be on was once the main street for the town of Wheat which no longer exists. At one time there was a post office, several schools, Masonic lodge, service station, three churches, a small college, and a number of residences and farms. Wheat was abandoned during WW2 when Oak Ridge was formed for it's part in the Manhattan Project.
