This launch is located on the Tickfaw River at Killian, Louisiana about 15-miles south of Hammond, Louisiana. As it is a catageoy of a Marinia there is gas avaliable on the water, a 2-lane paved launch, wood piers, avaliable 7\365. There is a store there with all aminites. The Tickfaw river is a very scenic river, good for fishing, and much recreational boating. From the launch south it is about 7-miles to Lake Maurepas and then into Lake Pontchatrain, then into the Gulf of Mexico.
