Benjamin Harris Millstone is being used as a base for a memorial plaque honoring the veterans of the World War. It is located in front of the Spears Library at 10 Cooleyville Rd, Shutesbury, MA.

The granite millstone is from the first gristmill built in Shutesbury by Benjamin Harris. The side of the milestone that is dressed with a quarter dressing contains the bronze plaque. The other side is uncut and supported by a stone cairn. Interesting the hub for the axle is displayed in front of the millstone.

The bottom of the plaque carries the inscription:
