EN: Lake Rosensee is located in the middle of the Pfynwald nature reserve to the west of the municipality of Leuk. It is about 50 meters wide and about 200 meters long. Most of the shore is overgrown with reeds. Besides many swimming birds and fish, there are also 26 dragonfly species and six amphibian species at the lake.
A hiking trail leads along its eastern shore.
DE: Der Rosensee befindet sich mitten im Naturschutzgebiet Pfynwald westlich der Gemeinde Leuk. Er ist rund 50 Meter breit und etwa 200 Meter lang. Der grösste Teil des Ufers ist mit Schilf bewachsen. Neben vielen Schwimmvögeln und Fischen gibt es an dem See auch 26 Libellenarten und sechs Lurcharten.
An seinem östliche Ufer führt ein Wanderweg vorbei.
