Opened in 1963 which was known as Chick's Diner at that time. In 1989 Connie Caratozzolo was enjoying a cup of coffee in Chick's, who was working a chef at Hobart College, took a chance at offering to buy the diner (it was not even up for sale) and viola a deal was made. Connie began her life owning her own restaurant in 1989.
Connie retired in 1998 and winters in Florida, however the ownership has stayed in the family.
