Voor het begin van de Zaltbommelse kringloop moeten we terug naar december 2003, toen er een kleine advertentie in weekblad De Toren verscheen met een oproep voor mede-initiatiefnemers. De advertentie was geplaatst door Stichting Help de Masai, een kleinschalige organisatie die geld bijeenbrengt voor projecten in het leefgebied van de Masaistam in Kenia. De stichting zag het oprichten van een kringloop als een mogelijkheid om een vaste bron van inkomsten te creëren.

In 2005 werd een pand in het centrum van Zaltbommel betrokken, maar dit pand was niet al te best meer en de winkel had al snel last van wateroverlast. Van de Kerkstraat verhuisde de winkel naar een loods op de Spellewaardstraat. Daardoor ging de winkel De Spullewaard heten. In 2014 werd men min of meer gedongen om naar Pand 9, de vroegere LTS te verhuizen. Hier werd een grote kringloopwinkel geopend. Er is van alles te koop van spelletjes tot meubels.

For the beginning of the Zaltbommelse cycle, we have to go back to December 2003, when a small advertisement appeared in weekly magazine De Toren with a call for co-initiators. The advertisement was placed by Stichting Help de Masai, a small-scale organization that raises money for projects in the habitat of the Masai tribe in Kenya. The foundation saw the creation of a cycle as an opportunity to create a permanent source of income.

In 2005, a building in the center of Zaltbommel was moved into, but this building was no longer very good and the store soon suffered from flooding. The store moved from the Kerkstraat to a warehouse on the Spellewaardstraat. As a result, the store was called De Stuffewaard. In 2014, people were more or less forced to move to Pand 9, the former LTS (lower technical school). A large thrift store was opened here. Everything from games to furniture is for sale.
