EN: The railway station of Lax is located about 150 meters southeast of the village center. The station was opened in 1915, the two-story building with corner pilasters made of granite is in the typical style of the original stations on the line of the Furka-Oberalp Railway between Brig and Disentis.

Since 2003, the line has been operated by the Matterhorn-Gotthard-Bahn, which resulted from the merger of the FO with the Brig-Visp-Zermatt-Bahn.

From Lax, there is an hourly train to Visp and Andermatt.
