William A. Noble was but twenty-five years old at the time of his death. Of his seven known siblings, four also died young. His Woodman of the World grave marker is styled as a vertical tree stump with cut limbs, set on a square base bearing the family name. Many other Noble graves are nearby, including his older brother and his father.
