The Baptist Church was built in 2000-1 somewhat in conjunction with the neighbouring Hillcrest Christian College. There had been several other sites for Baptist Churches on the Gold Coast in the 20th century. The church has multiple uses during the week, and has active youth and seniors groups. The Reedy Care Op Shop and Cafe is open Monday to Friday from 9am - 3pm.
