Just outside of Chattanooga, there is a rest area along the northbound I-75. This is the Tennessee Welcome Center. There is an extensive outdoor sculpture just east of the tourist information building.
Funded by the Tennessee Arts Commission, the Tennessee Department of Transportation and the National Endowment for the Arts; "An Environmental Garden" was created by sculptor Jack Hastings.
