Fue mandada construir en el siglo XV por el conde Pedro Niño.
La iglesia original gótica de tres naves, sufrió en la década de 1970 el derribo total de lo que se conservó la torre de la capilla mayor, decorada con bolas, pináculos y gárgolas y la portada del tempo. El edificio fue convertido en viviendas en cuya planta baja se construyó un nuevo templo, conservándose tan sólo la portada y la torre cuadrada, ahogada entre una arquitectura supuestamente vanguardista. Su rico patrimonio fue diseminado por el contiguo convento de Santa Ana y en la propia iglesia, en cuyo altar recibe culto la patrona de Valladolid.
Entre las obras que alberga destacan el grupo de la Sagrada Familia de Gregorio Fernández y un cuadro representando a un Cristo yacente, obra de Mateo Cerezo.
It was ordered to be built in the 15th century by Count Pedro Niño.
The original Gothic church with three naves suffered the total demolition of what was preserved in the 1970s, the tower of the main chapel, decorated with balls, pinnacles and gargoyles and the doorway of the temple. The building was converted into houses on the ground floor of which a new temple was built, conserving only the doorway and the square tower, drowned in a supposedly avant-garde architecture. Its rich patrimony was disseminated by the adjoining convent of Santa Ana and in the church itself, on whose altar the patron saint of Valladolid is worshiped.
Among the works that it houses, the group of the Holy Family by Gregorio Fernández and a painting representing a reclining Christ, the work of Mateo Cerezo, stand out.
