Universal Tattoos started operating in 1978. They were previously located on Broad Street, but moved a few blocks to the current location in 2015. The shop is owned by Bob Toner, who is also the lead artist. His son, Dennis, works along side him, as well as a rotation of other artists.
They practice a high level of cleanliness and sterilization, using only new needles, individual ink caps, and Nitrile gloves.
They don't do piercings.
