The Greek Revival style church was built in 1834 as the 1st Congregational Church. A dissenting group of members formed a second congregational congregation the same year and built their own church. Both churches coexisted until the 1st Congregational Church was sold to the Methodist around 1879 and became the present United Methodist Church of Holyoke, South Hadley and Granby. (visit link)
