[FIN] Heureka on suomalainen tiedekeskus Vantaan Tikkurilassa. Se sijaitsee pääradan ja Keravanjoen risteyskohdassa. Vuonna 1989 toimintansa aloittaneessa tiedekeskuksessa tutustutaan tieteeseen ja teknologiaan vuorovaikutteisissa näyttelyissä, planetaariossa, Ideaverstalla, oppimisohjelmissa ja tapahtumissa. Heurekan ydinajatuksena on ”tuottaa oivaltamisen iloa kaikille”. Heureka on yksi Suomen suosituimmista vapaa-ajan keskuksista, jossa käy keskimäärin lähes 300 000 vierailijaa vuosittain.
Heurekan vaihtuvat näyttelyt ovat sen perusnäyttelyn ohella olleet hyvin toteutettuja ja Heurekassa on nähty myös monia kuuluisia kansainvälisiä tiedenäyttelyitä.
Heurekasta löytyy moderni planetaario, mukava museokauppa sekä suuri auditorio. Tiloissa on myös ryhmille työskentelytilat. Monet koululuokat käyttävät niitä tutustuessaan Heurekaan.
[EN] Heureka is a Finnish science center in Tikkurila, Vantaa. It is located at the intersection of the main railway and the Keravanjoki. The science center, which started its operations in 1989, introduces science and technology in interactive exhibitions, a planetarium, an Ideas workshop, learning programs and events. The core idea of Heureka is "to bring the joy of insight to everyone." Heureka is one of the most popular leisure centers in Finland, with an average of almost 300,000 visitors every year.
In addition to its basic exhibition, Heureka's changing exhibitions have been well executed and Heureka has also seen many famous international science exhibitions.
Heureka has a modern planetarium, a nice museum shop and a large auditorium. The premises also have working spaces for groups. Many school classes use them when getting to know Heureka.
