In Føroya Sjósavn you can see and learn about all species of fish that live in the sea around the Faroe Islands. Also clams, crabs, shrimps and whatever living creatures are found in the sea. All seaweed species are also represented.
The buildings are originally an old ice house. It is planned to expand and build new ones so that the aquarium can also contain a research centre.
Opening hours:
Winter: Saturday and Sunday from 2pm to 5pm
Summer: Tuesday to Sunday from 2pm to 5pm
The school service is available all weekdays from 8AM to 3PM.
