El primitivo templo de San Vicente fue sustituido en la
primera mitad del siglo XVI por el actual de una sola nave,
cuatro tramos abovedados con crucería, una sacristía en el
lado de la epístola y una torre a los pies, ejecutado bajo los
auspicios de los poderosos Enríquez, cuyo escudo preside el
presbiterio. La nueva fábrica reutiliza parte de la tardorrománica, fundamentalmente algunos lienzos de los muros del
presbiterio (donde aún son visibles los simples canes de
nacela y proa de nave) y la antigua nave, con sus dos portadas, la meridional muy simple, de arco apuntado doblado.
La puerta septentrional se abre entre dos contrafuertes
prismáticos, en cuerpo resaltado del muro, con tejaroz
rematado en talud, sin modillones. Presenta jambas con
tres columnas acodilladas con por lado, sobre las que apea
triple arquivolta apuntada, con baquetones y chambrana
lisa, que parten de un alto zócalo o basamento abocinado, no original. Los capiteles presentan los cimacios lisos
mientras que en las cestas, también lisas y muy destruidas,
apenas si llegamos a vislumbrar una decoración un tanto
tosca inspirada en sencillas formas vegetales (hojas cóncavas cobijando bolas). La mayor parte carecen de ornamentación al igual que el conjunto de los cimacios. Las
basas se han perdido casi por completo, mientras que la
mayor parte de los fustes son nuevos. Por sus características Felipe Heras consideró que esta sencilla portada
pudiera pertenecer al siglo XIII avanzado.
The primitive temple of San Vicente was replaced in the

we barely get a glimpse of a somewhat
rough inspired by simple vegetable forms (concave leaves sheltering balls). Most of them lack ornamentation like the set of cymacios. The
