The Black Bull, Main Street, Cockermouth. An old low beamed and flagged floor pub, which has been opened up into a large single room bar. Cosy, but popular and busy with younger set. Occasional live entertainment.
Note the astonishingly high flood marker on the wall, recalling the unprecedented event of November 2009 when this part of the town was flooded to a depth of 2.5 metres.
