McQuiney Edmon Bradly died in Hunt County on December 10, 1853, at a time when most area farmers were subsistence farmers, and so many turned to homemade engraved concrete tombstones. This homemade tombstone stands in a group of several along the main road through East Mount Cemetery. They are made of local stone that is been etched with the tool. These remind blasters of the tombstones that we saw a lot of in Boston in the northeastern United States.
