EN: This transformer substation stands on a footpath through a modern residential neighborhood in Oftringen.
It probably dates from the 1930s and is thus much older than any other building in the vicinity.
The two-story tower has a half-hipped roof, corner pilasters and a cornice below the insulators, which are still in place. The side entrance is protected with a tiled roof.
DE: Diese Transformatorenstation steht an einem Fussweg durch ein modernes Wohnquartier in Oftringen.
Sie stammt vermutlich aus den 1930er Jahren und ist damit viel älter als alle anderen Gebäude in der näheren Umgebung.
Der zweistöckige Turm hat ein Krüppelwalmdach, ecklisenen und ein Gesims unterhalb der Isolatoren, die noch vorhanden sind. Der Seiteneingang ist mit einem Ziegeldach geschützt.
