His tombstone reads as follows:

"Pvt. OTHO MORGAN
Co. H, 359th Inf.90 Div.
WHO FELL IN FRANCE
Jan 13 1891 - 1Oct 23, 1918
Son of
J. D. & N. D. Morgan"

On the Find-A-Grave website, his listing reports a local newspaper death notice as follows: (visit link)

"OTHO MORGAN DIED OF WOUNDS IN GERMANY

Private Otho Morgan, reported as missing in action, is now reported dead. His father, J. D. Morgan, received the following message here last Friday:

'Deeply regret to inform you that it is officially reported that private Otho Morgan, infantry, died in Germany from wounds received in action. Date of death to be given later. -- (Signed_ HARRIS. Adjutant General's Department.'"
