"The current parish church was built between 1736 and 1738 under the patronage of the Bishop of Sigüenza from René, the Franciscan D. José García Fernández, by the architect Manuel Serrano, author of the also Baroque and original parish church of Rueda.

It is one of the best and most elegant Baroque architectural examples in the Community. On the outside it shows elegant and balanced lines, with a great set of volumes that is decoratively enlivened by the contrast of materials, stone and brick.

The main façade stands out above all, open to a large atrium elegantly closed with a stone wall. The access is centered on the western end of the temple, located between two flat brick towers encased in stone. Its stony façade is raised with a lintelled hole adorned with a large mixtilinear batter that reinforces its movement with curves and counter curves, framing the founder's coat of arms with the Franciscan symbols. Above the set, a niche shelters the sculpture of an Immaculate Conception that is ascribed to the master Pedro de Sierra."
