Three buildings were designed by the Bjarke Ingels Group in cooperation with Heimstaden and was built between 2019 and 2021 nearly 350 meters southwest of the sports campus of Esbjerg. The design included simple construction units packed to a more complex ring of sixteen elements around a core element containing an elevator, attached balconies lead to the impression that each level is a square which is little bit twisted compared to the one below or above, so that the buildings look like big cacti.

The use of simple units, each of which was prefabricated and only had to be plugged together, reduced the construction costs considerably. The buildings were inaugurated on November 25th in 2021.

A total of 314 apartments (mainly for students) and 117 spacy hotel rooms including 18 suites as well as some other usable space (e.g. for a café and a restaurant) are located on the approximately 18100 m² of the three towers. The hotel rooms were housed in the top nine floors of the largest tower with 17 floors and a height of 66m.
