When storms hit North Texas, the corridor between Decatur and Denton is often hit extremely hard, resulting in flooding and closed roads. The road is an older paved road which Hickory Creek is easily able to cross. As the area continues to grow, however, these old county roads may see improvements that remove obstacles like this from Mother Nature's wrath.
