Veterans Memorial Park contains a series of memorials to residents from South Windsor who died during 20th century wars.
The Korean War memorial is the first on the left of a line of monuments. It is a 3' high red granite stone which is inscribed:

PFC GLENN A. ROSE
CHARLES STARR & WW II
PFC Glenn A. Rose served with the 23rd Infantry in Korea. He was killed in action near Kunu-ri in North Korea on November 30, 1950. Link
Captain Charles Starr was born in 1917. He was a veteran of World War II. He died in Korea in 1951 and is buried in South Windsor's Center Cemetery. Link
