The octagonal wooden post is covered with eight white metal printed plates, each with a message in a different language, with the English one being: "May Peace Prevail On Earth".
The Peace Pole is surrounded by a shaped hedge and a hexagonal bench of four wooden slats deep completely surrounding it, with the supporting metals posts set into a hexagonal concrete pad. It was placed in 2017 by the Lions Club to commemorate the club centenary.
