There are two dated 'Foundation Stones' for the St Andrews Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Bundaberg.

The styling of the grand Church belies that this was actually built as the St Andrews Presbyterian Church in 1931, and opened and dedicated in 1932. The Jubilee Foundation Stone is on the left-hand side of the Gothic-arched double-door entrance at the Bell Tower. The square white marble tablet of the Foundation Stone has the following inscription:

To The Glory of God
and The
Service of Humanity
This Jubilee Foundation Stone
was Laid on
OCtober 24th 1931
by the
Right Rev. J.A. Hunter M.A.,B.D.
Moderator, Presbyterian Church
Minister Rev. W.C.R. Moore.
While the square white marble Dedication Stone of 1932 on the right-hand side of the Bell Tower door has the following lead lettering inscription:

To The Glory of God
and the
Preaching of the Gospel
This Church Was Opened
And Dedicated On
September 3rd 1932
by the
Right Rev. Donald Cameron, M.A.
Moderator-General, Presbyterian
Church  of  Australia
