Edificada en el emplazamiento original de la población de Tiedra, el templo conserva la imagen de Nuestra Señora de Tiedra, la imagen con mayor devoción para los habitantes de los pueblos de la zona.

La entrada exterior se enmarca por una magnífica portada del XVIII con espadaña, que da paso a un amplio zaguán con pozo dispuesto a modo de capilla con 3 naves y 2 tramos. También destacan sus cubiertas de dos bóvedas y un amplio espacio central con cúpula y arista. Desde el patio se accede a la iglesia por una sencilla y elegante portada romanista.
El interior de la iglesia es una curiosa planta salón de una nave con coro alto, donde se sitúa un interesante órgano. La capilla mayor se encuentra separada por una reja del XVIII, que da paso a un primer espacio cubierto con una cúpula.
The exterior entrance is framed by a magnificent 18th century portal with a belfry, which leads to a wide hall with a well arranged as a chapel with 3 naves and 2 sections. Also noteworthy are its two-vaulted roofs and a large central space with a dome and edge. The church is accessed from the patio through a simple and elegant Romanesque doorway.
The interior of the church is a curious hall plan with a nave with a high choir, where an interesting organ is located. The main chapel is separated by a gate from the 18th century, which leads to a first space covered with a dome.
