Fittstown is a small unincorporated community in south central Pontotoc County. There is a small business section along US 377, and there are between 50 and 100 residents. Besides the church's active Facebook page (see below), they have no significant online presence beyond web-spidered directory listings, and there is no church history to be found. A stone worked into the fabric of the sanctuary out front indicates that they organized in 1935 and this building dates to 1958.
The Blessing Box stands by the church entrance. It resembles others, made of wood and painted green with glass panes in the doors which open up to two compartments with shelves. At the time of posting, the cup o' noodles and bottle of water were my addition to the baby food, soup, and canned vegetables. There's plenty of room for further donations.
