Wynnewood View Cemetery is actually some miles from Wynnewood proper. The two cenotaphs are behind the headstone marking the final resting places of their parents, John and Alice Edwards, both of whom predeceased their sons, and photos from Findagrave (see website, below) strongly suggest that these are replacements, placed between 2010 and 2015. The marker for Troy Edwards is a granite slab, about the size of a government-issued headstone, and it reads:
Troy Edwards
CPO USN Ret WWII Ashes Buried at Sea
May 23, 1924 - Aug. 31, 2003
Son of John and Alice Edwards
------------
Findagrave has an interesting article from the News Messenger in Lincoln, CA, dated March 26, 1953, covering when Mr. Edwards was a member of a force of Seabees that built an airstrip under the noses of enemy forces during the Korean War.
