The Manchester Vietnam Veterans Memorial is a eleven part triangular memorial made of polished black granite. It's shaped to resemble the Vietnam War memorial in Washington, DC. The first panel is inscribed with the date 1964. The last panel is inscribed with the date 1975. The north side has the inscription VIETNAM VETERANS MEMORIAL. The south side has the inscription We were young We have died Remember us The center panel is inscribed:
