This pier was built a few years back along with a large pavilion
for picnics, receptions, and the occasional musician who might show
up and decide to sing a few songs. Local anglers regularly fish off
the pier and the yearly Independence Day fireworks are located only
a few hundred feet from the pier. There is a large parking area beside
the pavilion along with an atm machine and one local BBQ restaurant
serves lots of tasty choices for eating in or at the picnic pavilion.
I have a geocache located on the pier for those who are interested as
well.
